Eden Bensadoun is an artist, illustrator, printmaker, and costume maker and has been striving to find their own voice through an artistic journey from a young age. Bensadoun focuses heavily on the dreams, psyche, body, corporality, and the human form. They love working on freelance projects of all kinds, such as sculpting, children’s book illustrations, logo design, typography work, installations, and more!

Born in 2000 to French and Belgian parents, Eden Bensadoun has moved around their whole life, which has allowed them to pursue their artistic inhibitions through different cultures. They were born in London, and lived most of their young childhood engaging in arts and crafts. At the cusp of adolescence, Bensadoun moved to Hong Kong, where they became more serious, delving deeper into creativity and their art. After finishing high school, Bensadoun moved to New York and is currently living there in the pursuit of knowledge and to solidify their craft.

Throughout their secondary school career, Eden Bensadoun was eager to participate in the IGCSE Visual Arts as well as the International Baccalaureate Visual Arts component of their diploma. During these years’ summer, Bensadoun had the opportunity to attend several summer programs, such as the Oxford Visual Arts program, the Brown Drawing Intensive, and the UAL Central Saint Martins Illustration and Graphic Design courses. Eden Bensadoun has also always been interested in performance and costuming, and has been steadily refining their craft throughout their life. From a young age, Bensadoun has been a part of a number of charity concerts, as well as having minor roles in several school plays. 

After high school, Eden Bensadoun launched themselves in formal artistic studies and graduated with honours from Parsons School of Design in May of 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Illustration and a Minor in Theatre from Eugene Lang College. Additionally, Bensadoun has been a featured artist in a RAW Artists showcase in March of 2019.

Bensadoun has been exploring costume design and sculptural work, as well as performance and theatre since starting moving to the U.S. And after co-founding the BSAC artist collective with El Ryan at the beginning of 2023, and taking part in a multitude of craft and art shows and markets, Bensadoun is currently navigating the world as a freelance illustrator, artist, fashion assistant, and jewellery designer.
